What Badi Buddy is

A private, free project by Christian Baracchi, currently in a closed beta. There is no entitlement to the app always being available or keeping certain features. Rules and points may change.

Who can take part

• You are at least 18 years old.
• One account per person.
• The beta requires an invitation code.

Swim at your own risk

Badi Buddy says nothing about whether swimming at a place is allowed or safe or how good the water is. Water temperatures are measured and modelled values without guarantee. Follow the SLRG swimming rules, local bans, the weather and your own limits. No point is worth a risk.

Swim fair

• Only log swims you have really done.
• No tricks with location, date or multiple accounts.
• Be respectful: no harassment, no stalking, no offensive content.
• Open to new Badi Buddies: only enter an email address that belongs to you. Contact and meetings outside the app are your own responsibility; Badi Buddy doesn’t read or store messages. Anyone who uses requests for anything other than swimming together or harasses others may be blocked.
• If something isn’t right, you can report or block: your buddies, your contacts and people who have sent you a contact request.

Measures

In case of violations we may remove swims or points, reset a name or block an account.

Delete account

You can delete your account in the app at any time (⚙️ Settings → Delete account).

Liability

The app is operated without guarantee. To the extent permitted by law, any liability for damage arising from its use is excluded.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will inform you about significant changes in the app.

Applicable law

Swiss law applies.
